Maryland Heights, MO - We're an expanding firm in West County and we're looking for an Accounting and Office Assistant. This position will have many roles and require a variety of daily tasks. The primary requirements will be bookkeeping, project billing and invoicing. Keep in mind that this is NOT a remote position. Are you looking to make a change to a growing firm? We're expanding and we're looking for someone that has experience working on various accounting tasks and supporting the office.
VARIOUS RESPONSIBILITIES that may be required from time to time:
General Bookkeeping
Data Entry of Accounts Payable invoices
Process Cash Disbursement and Accounts Payable checks
Invoicing - prepare and process invoices -send/upload invoices to clients
Prepare and send Accounts Receivable Statements
Follow-up with Collections on outstanding Accounts Receivable invoices
Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies in billings and payments
Enter company Employee Expense Report information
Reconcile the credit card bills with expense reports
Enter new projects into system, create file folders for projects and file
Enter invoices
and general office duties
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience:
1-3 Years of related experience
Other Requirements:
Proficient computer skills- knowledge MS Word, Outlook, Excel. Knowledge of MS Access and Sage Software helpful.
Multitask in a fast pace environment and work well under pressure
Ability to problem solve, make decisions and take initiative
Be able to meet deadlines
Strong organizational and communication skills
Excellent teamwork skills
Salary: $40,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
